What you’ll be doing
- Handle light maintenance and basic repairs (patch/paint, minor plumbing, doors/locks, caulking, simple troubleshooting)
- Replace light bulbs, filters, smoke detector batteries, and small fixtures
- Help with preventive maintenance and punch-list items
- Support common area upkeep and safety checks (as assigned)
- Provide before/after photos and quick job updates from your phone
- Identify when a job needs a licensed vendor and help with access/coordination
What we’re looking for
- Entry-level welcome — we’ll train the right person
- Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license
- Comfortable using basic hand tools (or willing to learn fast)
- Professional, respectful communication with residents and board members
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors
Schedule & pay
- Part-time: 20 hours per week
- $18–$20 per hour (based on experience and reliability)
- Mostly weekdays; occasional urgent issues may come up
Bonus points (not required)
- Any apartment/HOA maintenance experience
- Drywall/paint skills
- Experience using work order apps or sending job photos/updates
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
